My interest in photography began when I was about 13 years old. My father was in the photography business, and I quickly picked up the fundamental skills from him. Back then (1990), I had the benefit of firsthand exposure to how a camera works, how film and print are being processed at my father's business. Such technical processes are becoming increasingly rare as we move into the digital age. However, skills such as camera control and image composition remain constant. Even in the digital age, the art of manipulating
light continues to evolve. I continue with my photography journey by exploring, and experimenting with new techniques and skills.
I used to do photography for a living, but I'd prefer to do it as a hobby. Today, I spent the majority of my photography time looking for exciting things to photograph, such as food, wildlife, and macro photography. In the past, I have done events, landscapes, studios and toy photography.
So setting up this site is where I share my work and also share my knowledge in the field of photography. I hope you find your inspiration here.
The logo is designed to look like a camera. The shutter button is located above the letter J, and the lens is located where the letter G is. The X is composed of three distinct shapes in red, green, and blue that resemble the aperture of a lens and RGB is a light-based color model. Photography is about capture moments at the speed of light. Film or digital, both require the art of gathering light through a lens and capturing it with the right amount.
The logo presented with these elements reminds the fundamental skills of capturing light in motion.
